Ruth developed Cauda Equina Syndrome in 2018 and describes waking up with numbness which quickly deteriorated. She talks to Aideen about ways her injury has affected her day to day life including working, meeting up with friends and travelling around London.
Ruth also talks about her treatment for Cauda Equina and what has worked for her.
Finally, Ruth offers etiquette advice to those who work with and interact with people with spinal cord injury and particular wheelchair bound people.
